FF getting to be overloaded with options...
It was nice when FF was simple to use....unimcumbered with all the options...like the latest...profiles.
Why? It's getting to be as complicated as E and C..you don't need all those options - that's why I use FF.
Get rid, or allow the user, to pick and choose, and dump the unwanted stuff from cluttering the tool bar and other options. Just a suggestion that can be made to FF any longer. Use to be they'd welcome feedback.

I've seen that and tried it...only lets you remove what FF wants. Can't remocve the profile button from the taskbar or the add tab to tasbar button...
Mozola is getting to be lit Microsoft and google...they know whats best for you...
Hmm, what do you mean by removing the profile button from the taskbar? I can remove Firefox account button from the toolbar, but maybe you mean something different?
Regarding the Add tab to taskbar button, it indeed doesn't seem to be removable via the UI, but you can completely disable the related feature via the Configuration Editor (which will also remove the button):
- Go to about:config (just enter it in the address bar and press Enter).
- Click Accept the Risk and Continue if a warning appears.
- Search for browser.taskbarTabs.enabled
- Toggle the value of the preference named exactly like that (true by default) by double-clicking it or clicking the Toggle button at the right, so that the value becomes false.
The profile button just appeared with this last update on my FF....I don't use it and don't like it. Want it gone. Just like the missleading 'add tab to taskbar' button. get it confused with the download button and don't use the 'add tab to taskbar' button so why have it.... Nothing to do with shutting tabs off.
Hi The only one that is greyed out is the Extensions icon
