Why does it take so many clicks to 'Delete Browsing History'? It should be far simpler!

You should submit your question separately, so the troubleshooting data is captured from your device. You're probably facing support.mozilla.org/questions/1595066

But back to the original question — the Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars article shows the handy "Forget" toolbar button if you're so inclined and any current steps feel too lengthy for y'alls' workflows.

Hi Les,

The current flow is Application menu → History → Clear recent history... or manually Application menu → History → Manage history. I don't think it is cumbersome in any way. How would you suggest to make it any simpler?

Regards, Balázs

You can also drag the History button to the toolbar in case you have the menu bar hidden or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+Delete).

I have never had any problems manually deleting my history with the path(s) stated in this thread,. But recently those tactics are "freezing" my Firefox program in which I have to close Firefox and then reconnect. After reconnecting I check my recent history and it has deleted it but not sure why I have to close then reconnect the program to make that happen. (?).
