Hi, I am in the process of changing all my accounts to my new email. However in the Firefox Sync settings, there does not seem to be a way to update my primary email address (no button beside the email). I can only add a secondary email, which is not what I want. Is there a way for me to update the primary email?

I found the not-so-obvious solution.

  • Add the new email address as a secondary
  • Once added, click the "Make Primary" button on that new email address item
  • Delete the old address, which is now Secondary
