I recently installed the 64bit version of Tbird on my W10 desktop. Before that i made a copy of my Profile (C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default) used previously with the 32bit version. However I do not succeed in merging my old profile with the 64bit version.

Please help me out on his issue, I have been struggling with this problem for 2 days now. Unfortunately, the old profle contains in the Local Maps a great number of mails I do not have access to any more. In addition I lost my address book and would have to start all over again.

There must be a simple solution to restore my old data into the newly acquired 64bit Tbird? I already tried the profile manager but no to avail. TB starts invariably with a blank screen. Many thanks in advance.
