Constant Error Messages if Download is hit while it is already downloading

I have a number of email accounts set up and it seems that Thunderbird is constanatly giving me the following error message if I happen to hit "Get Messages" while it is already updating

"The account ***@****.com is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages"

This seems to me a totally unneccessary and redundant error. If it is already downloading then it should just ignore any further requests.

That error has many causes, the most common is attempting to get mail while the previous lot is still being indexes by the global indexer.
