Have one Hotmail account, which works fine. Have one Yahoo account which does not. Recently I changed the password for both accounts...each from it's respective homepage. I also used the same password when I set up Thunderbird. Today, I tried to change the password, which I did; however the Hotmail account accepts it fine in T-Bird, but the Yahoo account did not. I get a message on the order of "The Yahoo servers are not responding to this attempt to get email. The service may be down temporarily.
Both accounts were working fine before I made the changes, and I'm POSITIVE I got the password integrated to Hotmail and Yahoo. IIn fact, I tried it three times. I thought about simply deleting the Yahoo account and letting T-Bird put it back like when I first started, nut so far I have not even been able to find a place to remove the address.
Obviously, I will appreciate any help from anyone. I'm not sure where this post will go, but I need any replies sent to texguy33@hotmail.com.
Thank you.

Have you enabled POP access to your account on Yahoo.... they helpfully default it to off when you do their security update thingy. You also need to enable less secure apps in your settings on yahoo. They also turn that on, even though they will not allow us to use the "more" secure method to get mail..
