The icon is there in the taskbar but as I right click on the icon the opened menu doesn't contain the icon of firefox

Hi, try creating a new icon, by unpinning it, then start Firefox from the Start Menu, or a Desktop icon. Now right click on its Taskbar icon and pin it to the Taskbar.
