I can't turn off my primary password because FF says I'm trying to use the wrong one.

I recently added a primary password to FF. I wrote it down, but FF says I'm using the wrong one already. I can't turn it off and I can't change the password. I'm in a loop. How do I get out?

You might have to delete profile and re-create - I think that may be the only way (Master Password is local encryption only, not used for the sync to remote).

Brian, you might need to follow the link "Reset your Primary Password if you've forgotten it" under the section "Remove the Primary Password" in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-primary-password-protect-stored-logins
