Hi,
Where exactly do you search? When searching in the Library, you can select a bookmark and edit its fields at the bottom of the window.
search in library mobile, Screenshot. It must also bei possible to edit Bookmarks in search mode because you can not find bm easy in the library to edit. To change title or URL you have to know where the bookmark exactly lies. This is impossible often. thx
Oh, got it now. I didn't notice "mobile" in the question title at first, but I've just moved your question to the Firefox for Android forum.
While it indeed doesn't seem to be possible to edit/delete a bookmark from search results, you can tap the bookmark to open the website and then select Edit bookmark from the menu.
Since the above workaround is less convenient than what you mean, I suggest that you vote for (give kudos to) the following ideas on Mozilla Connect, our dedicated place for feedback:

There's also a bug (bug 1812701) to track the related work, but I can't tell when it will be prioritized.
