On a W11 machine why am I continuosly being asked to sign in to this network to access the internet when I am using the internet as I am now while asking this question ? No problem on W10

I open up firefox and the message appears - you must be signed into this network in order to access the internet. BUT i can use the internet. This is not a problem on a W10 machine which I also use.
