I have used Thunderbird for many years with my plusnet email address john@jonela.plus.com. Plusnet no longer manage emails and have migrated to Greenby. Could I transfer my email address to Thunderbird as I do not wish to use Greenby.

Chosen solution

No, you can't. Thunderbird is an email program that runs on your local computer and interacts with external email services like Gmail, Comcast, AOL, Plusnet, or (resumably) Greenby . Thunderbird doesn't offer email hosting services. So, you'll have to find another email host on your own. Once you do that, you will almost certainly be able to use Thunderbird to manage the email on that account.
