imported them how exactly. I find the personal definitions of import being used vary considerably from what I would consider to be an "import" . Just as server appears to have multiple definition these days, so does import So let's start by trying to confirm we are on the same page.
I am nontechi so import I mean migration of all emails and folders from original email server which never was trustworthy. It is supposed to have been done already and imported onto fastmail account. Then I wanted all other data from my old computer put onto the new computer. But I can't find it aanywhere just like can't find emails transferred over. I am in a pickle because I can't find anywhere to get a ssuper easy tutorial on how to navigate Linux withooooout all the crazy terms only computer techs understand. Typing difficult due to smaller keypad. Dont understand what "user" means below the reply.
re :It is supposed to have been done already and imported onto fastmail account.
Have you created a new mail account which connects to the new server ? OR if using same email address, have you altered the server settings to point to new server?

Are you using an imap or pop account?

Advise, use the same version of Thunderbird on both computers.
