Have you created a new mail account which connects to the new server ? OR if using same email address, have you altered the server settings to point to new server?

Where did you get Thunderbird install from eg: was it the Windows App Store or Snap or Flatpak or from th official webpage: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/ What version of Thunderbird is on that old computer? Are you using an imap or pop account?
