This just started happening today, I had to uninstall the addon to navigate to any webpage. I tried reinstalling it but the error came back so I have to keep it uninstalled to work from this browser. Here is the error in text:

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to duckduckgo.com because this website requires a secure connection.

duckduckgo.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

Another user reported that a certificate expired. This may require an update to the Firefox Private Network add-on, but I'm not sure. You could try disabling the add-on (on the Add-ons page) temporarily. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. On the right side, find the "Manage Your Extensions" heading.

If there is at least one extension before the next heading -- "Recommended Extensions" -- please continue:

To disable an extension, you can click its slider switch.

Any difference?
