Since import export tools ng does not work with Thunderbird 78 is there a way to import my windows live mail emails? If not, can I install an older version of Thunderbird to use (I haven't been able to find a place to download other than the latest version)?

WLM mail is in eml format, and these can be imported to TB by dragging from Explorer and dropping on a subfolder of Local Folders in TB. You may have to select another folder and then select the target folder to see the messages. Works here with TB 78/W10.
