Thunderbird too large on my screen.
The font on my email was tiny so I searched for an answer to fix it. The problem is that I made a change in Config Editor that I can't reverse now. I went to Preferences and modified the following: layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. The value I changed it to was much too large (I selected 2.0). Now the entire program runs off my screen. When I go back to change it back, this is the problem I have: I go to Tools, Options, General, Config Editor, but I can't get past that point because it's off my screen. I have tried to zoom to make it small, but I still don't see the selection where you have to accept going further. I can't get to the point where you right click on Preferences to change it back because I get stuck and can't get past Config Editor. Is there any way I can undo this change?
Chosen solution
Help/Troubleshooting, click Open Folder to open the profile folder, close TB, open the prefs.js file in a text editor, find the line with layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, and change the value from 2.0 to something like 1.2. Save prefs.js, restart TB, and you should then be able to access Config. editor. If you change the preference from 1.2, increase it in small steps. The change takes effect without closing Config. editor, so you can see the result immediately.
