For example, you deliberately navigate to site A. Site A connects to site B in the background without you knowing. Site B is an ad site pulling in ads to be shown while you're still on site A. Site B is also setting a cookie for tracking purposes. That's a 3rd party cookie. It's recommended not to allow 3rd party cookies.
