Hi Jonathan_Livingston,

On the ZTE Open C, you can update the operating system by tapping on the Software Update application in your Homescreen. Please contact ZTE directly if you have problems updating your device.

We hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions in the future.

Thanks,

- Ralph

Hello Jonathan, thanks for asking us know about it. By reading your question and description, I have understood that you would like to stop autoupdate. Actually, there is 2 type of Update. System update and application update. To stop it, please do following:

  1. Go to Setting Application.
  2. Then tap on Device Information
  3. In the Check for Update section, tap on Daily and change it to Monthly
  4. Then press Ok to come back

hope this is helpful. Currently there is no feature by turning off automatic update. But by that method, update will only be searched after 1 month.

Let us know if this is helpful. If it did not work, please also Inform us. We will try our best to help in you.

Regards Safwan

Hello Safwan Rahman,

on the ZTE Open C (which Jonathan_Livingston is using) this option does not exist.

As Ralph Daub points out, on this device there is an app called "Software Update".
