How to import address book from att.net? (Already tried directions.)

more options

Have already followed instructions and Thunderbird does not recognize LDIF file, when it gets to the screen to import it. AT&T email is closed, LDIF file is closed, yet there's no way to upload the file it needs to bring over the AT&T address book. I've tried uploading the saved file from "Documents Library" and from the Desktop, but neither one works - tried it 4 times! Running Windows 7, Firefox 29.0.1

I did a screen shot showing the problem, but don't see how to paste it here...

Thank you.

Thank you iamjayakumars, but if you read what I wrote, you will see that I've already done what you recommend, multiple times!

The image tells the story. The address book from ATT.net has been saved to the desktop (yahoo_contacts.ldif), yet during that part of the process, Thunderbird does not find that file. How do I get that LDIF file into Thunderbird?

more options

When the Thunderbird, Open the Browse file to Choose Your "yahoo_contacts.ldif"

Change the file type From "LDIF" to "All Files" Next to File Name
