Can't reset my PIN for changing Passkey

radarman.1

It tells me " You can reset your PIN by going to Settings>Accounts>Sign in options. There are no sign in options under Accounts. This is very frustrating. I've spent way too much time trying to get around this Passkey bullshit!!!! I don't want to use a passkey I want to use only a Password and user name . This not only happens on PayPal but other sites as well. Don't blame it on PayPal It's your Mozilla that's doing it.

Hello radarman.1,

The PIN prompt is handled by Windows Hello or your device’s passkey provider, not directly by Firefox.

If you're using Windows, try Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello) to reset your PIN. The available options can vary depending on your device. Microsoft's PIN reset guide

If you prefer passwords, look for Use password or Other ways to sign in on the website. You may also be able to remove the saved passkey in that site's security settings.

Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?

You are correct. I didn't realize the PIN prompt was coming from Windows!!
