Add-ons aren't syncing
Hi.
I have enabled Add-on syncing on 2 of my existing FireFox desktop installs. There doesn't appear to be any difference to the add-ons installed on each Firefox. I've resynced & restarted each FireFox multiple times.
Am I doing something wrong?

I'm sorry that you are having difficulties to sync your add-ons.
Two questions: Are both Firefox installations up to date? They should be Firefox 20. Add-on Sync was not implemented until some months ago.
The other thing to keep in mind is that syncing add-ons can take some time. I would recommended leaving both machines running for one hour before looking into other causes.

Yes, both installations are FireFox 20.
Both machines are running 24/7.
UPDATE: I have another FireFox install on my wifes MacBook that I rarely use. I fired it up. It was running version 16. Sync was active but Add-on syncing was not enabled. I updated this FF to version 20. It automatically enabled add-on syncing & Add-ons started syncing.
On further experimenting my Windows laptop & MacBook are syncing Add-ons in both directions. My Windows Desktop is not syncing Add-ons with them.
I still have this problem.
I have this problem also. add-ons never sync.
I reinstalled FireFox. That fixed it.
Did you delete all the user prefs too?
Yes I did. Got most of them back when I synced though.
