firefox loads website, but certain parts of the site don't show up
I have a vacation website that loads a calendar that shows when our cottage is booked. I need to access frequently. Since 4.0, that calendar won't show. The page loads, not the calendar. I have to go back to using IE for that site. I've reloaded 4.0. Can i go back to an earlier version of Firefox that worked? Or what. many thanks

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Mozilla usually announces well in advance (at least three months) of when earlier versions no longer qualify for support. At this moment in time though v3.5.18 is still supported and that was released much earlier than v3.6.16

You can revert to the previous secure version which is 3.6.16 like this.
Go to Download Firefox v3.6.16 and download it to the desktop.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to Mozilla Firefox and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box).
Then reboot and delete the folder called Mozilla Firefox at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.
Thank you Xircal. As I went to do that, the mozilla site said it wont support earlier versions much longer. think that's a problem? Should I find a way to make it work in 4.0? many thanks again for responding.

Thank you again, Xircal. I followed your instructions, and my working calendar appeared. Can ditch IE again, excellent. The simplest solution is so often the best. Many thanks again for taking the time to write an answer. Linda
You're welcome Linda.
