This is likely happening because of cached local data (Cookies/Cache), saved form history, or Firefox's built-in geo-targeting features that persist even if global location services are off. Here is how to completely clear and disable it: 1. Advanced Configuration (about:config) Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter (accept the warning). Search for geo.enabled and double-click it to change its value from true to false. Search for browser.search.geoSpecificDefaults and set it to false. 2. Clear Hidden Form & Browsing Data Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (or Cmd + Shift + Delete on Mac). Set the time range to Everything. Make sure to check Cookies, Cache, and Form & Search History (this is what autofills addresses even if no specific profile is saved), then click Clear Now. 3. Reset the Weather Widget & Addresses Weather Widget: Click the three dots ... on the weather widget in your New Tab page, manage locations, and manually delete your hometown or set a neutral default. To first clear location saying on web, click the menu button>settings>privacy and security. Then, scroll down to the permissions section, then next to location, click settings button. After that, clear all the websites that are there to delete your saved location data on that website.

To prevent location saving from happening on websites,click the menu button, click settings, click privacy and security, then go to permissions, then click settings button next to location. after that, check the box for Block new requests from asking to access your location, and save changes.

To block Firefox Location tracking features, go to about:config>accept risk, search for geo.enabled preference, then set it from true to false. This blocks Firefox location features. and saving. Note : only go to about:config if you know what you are doing. Not knowing how to navigate can cause malfunctioning.
