my settings wont recognize thunderbird as a set account for me to send out documents.
I send and rcv emails, however when I download documents to send, my computer settings say you don't exist.

I do wish folk would quote the error messages verbatim. To us they actually have meaning whereas the interpretations usually loos all meaning by the time they get to the forum.
However based on your interpretation I will guess your computer does not recognize Thunderbird as the default mail client. Does that ring any bells?
What version of Thunderbird do you have, running on what operating system?
