My plain Firefox Browser search page is recently changed to a colored page with Microsoft Bing - I do not know how or why this changed happened - how do I remove it and return to the original plain page.

Could you check your home page setting as described in the following article:
Can you regain control of your startup page?
If the startup page is okay but you get search results on Bing instead of your preferred search site, there is a different setting for that. More info in this article:
