Many have the problem of managing their accounts. Hence "log-in with ..." are popular. That makes it easy to centralize, manage and grant (and deny) access to personal data. I'd rather trust Mozilla than Google or Facebook etc.

Currently, Firefox Account integration is happening on a variety of Mozilla owned websites (such as this Support page). I am not aware of adding the ability for third-party sites to use it, but that may happen
