Honestly I don't have a clue as to where to look to resolve this sudden issue because I've never seen it before. While testing a simple single page static web site firefox keeps loading the same page into a new tab and a rate that I cannot keep up with. In a few short minutes there are hundreds of tabs open each with the same page. I've tried cancelling Firefox, rebooted my system, even removed and reinstalled firefox all to no avail (using Linux Mint). What's interesting is that all other browsers I try do NOT do this. They all work just fine. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions as to what might cause this and/or where to look to diagnose? Thanks in advance.

When I want to start up Firefox I receive the following message, Cannot start up the aplication, press OK to end it.

Firefox is now unusable. I have searched "Settings" and can find nothing about "Content Filtering," "Shields," or "Brave Browser." Can you tell me what is going on here?

Can you be honest and address this?

I have Firefox set to ask me where to download files that I want to download. It works for normal download links, but when I'm using my credit card company site's PDF viewer to look at a statement and I click on the download icon or link in the upper-left, it simply downloads the PDF (to my chosen "Save files to" folder in Settings). Is there a current way to change this behavior? Is this something that the website's code determines, overriding my Firefox setting?

I had set up my homepage on Firefox as "currently.att.yahoo.com". All of a sudden I can't get that site. When I try I get a message indicating the site isn't available in China. Why is this happening and how do I fix it. A step by step way to cure this would be appreciated. Please reply to aulonz2021@att.net my aulonz2019@att.net address is on Yahoo and I can't get there. I use the Yahoo homepage for most of my browsing and I am really upset that I can't get there!

When printing a page to PDF, with headers & footers, the default setup shows the date in right footer. However this date format is in (for me) awkward US format . Is there a way to show the date according to system regional short date & time ?

info: OS: windows 10 pro

 date format: YYYY-MM-DD
 time format: hh:mm (24-hr)

So it looks like notifications stopped working with the lastest Firefox version 120.0.1. Specifically notifications functionality has stopped working for ForexFactory.com. The site says browser disallows notifications though the settings in the address bar indicate that they are allowed. This is also the case for other sites like MarketWatch. Wondering if there is a bug or my install is corrupted. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this or knows anything about this. Thanks.

I can not access for days my bank account at truist.com. It shows it is loading but never does. I CAN access from any other browser want to use! Truist says it is a Firefox browser issue.

cAPTCHA is recent problem in Firefox browser ... never before was it a problem. cAPTCHA keeps asking to choose an image but keeps on never verified ... I had to get Chrome browser to finally log in to a site I wanted.

Machine is Windows 10 with a Logitech wireless keyboard. Latest Firefox browser. Not always but sometimes when using Firefox browser to log in somewhere or enter data on some web site, I'll get an incorrect entry for a key stroke. e.g. I enter a 0 and get a 1. But if I enter a 1 I get a 1. So far the error key has always been different.

I've tested things by launching a notepad or Word document and entering the character and in those all works fine. But go back to Firefox and I get the error again. What I have to do is to close and re-launch Firefox and so far this fixes things. It's an intermittent problem which forces me to keep another browser on the machine and ready. Imagine entering a password when all of a sudden you type 'X' and it gives you an 'E'. Really frustrating!

How can I block the dropdown video miniplayer in Firefox 120.0.1 on Windows 11? It doesn't happen in MS Edge.

I've already set the following with no results:

Is there a setting that I've missed? Can the miniplayer somehow be blocked using userContent.css? Can the miniplayer be totally removed from Firefox?

Recently I´ve encountered problems with (mostly) accessing nba.com. I don´t get the resultbar. Today klicking on one of the menue items (Schedule) Firefix refused to load the page claiming "Not safe". As you can see I´ve accessed the page a number of times. /Leif Arvidsson

Dear ladies, dear gentlemen,

on another Computer, when using Firefox, I am now constantly getting a Norton notification of a malicious domain request 22. The problem does NOT arise with the Opera browser installed on the same machine. What shall I do? Uninstall Firefox seems to be the best solution. Scans do not reveal presence of malware. On this computer, similar OP, this does not happen, but I use it much less.

I have been having with YouTube for a couple of days. It asks to turn off ad blockers. I have done so and it still requests to turn ad blockers and still won't allow viewing. YouTube works on other browsers.

I am sure YouTube is playing games but can you help?

I have reinstalled and refreshed the app many times, but whenever I try to search something, it says "An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. This happens with every single search on every website, not just google.

This problem occurred recently and it's quite a pain in the ass. I'm using Macbook Pro 14 inches with M1 Max chip. Lately when I work, I have to open quite many urls at the same time, and my mac went crazy hot because of firefox's insane cpu usage. I tried what's suggested to turn off the acceleration mode, but still, nothing changes.

Is there still anything I can do to resolve it? or I just switch to other browser?
