I feel like I've tried everything to stop Firefox from automatically opening when I start my Windows 11 computer.

I've checked: task manager, the startup folder in Windows 11 (shell:startup), The registry under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run", Settings>Apps>Startup, and also in Firefox under Settings>"Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up", and under "about:config">toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart (change value to false).

Can anyone tell me why Firefox is still automatically launching at startup of Windows 11?

Facebook simply isn't loading in Firefox anymore - it loads in Edge on my PC just fine and on my Mobile Android Browser .

I've tried disabling all extensions, and clearing cache and cookies, but Facebook still refuses to load and returns the message, attached.

When I access Facebook via Firefox browser there usually are issues - site does not load properly, videos stop working, and more. I do not encounter the same problems with other browsers.

i have been using firefox for years without issues. just now i booted up on my laptop and a reset firefox question came up so i thought oh okay why not? I LOST MY FB PAGE/400+ FRIENDS... I LOST LEVEL 700+ IN A GAME APP.... all acting like this was day one!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF???????????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!

My computer is running very slowly on Firefox. It takes forever to load anything on Facebook, or my Bank, or any other site where I want to use Firefox. I have DuckDuckGo for search, and that is really slow, too. So I thought that maybe Firefox needs to be updated. But I don't know where to find the Menu Bar. I am 80 years old and don't know the computer "jargon." By coming here I lost your step-by-step directions about what to do AFTER I find the Menu!

I am taking a course on Coursera, and while the video lessons are viewable on my W10 box running Firefox 142.0.1 (64-bit), on my W7 box running Firefox 115.27.0esr (64-bit) the Coursera page, after briefly displaying the lesson's home page, which includes the normal video playback window, reports "This page encountered an error." I have contacted Coursera, to no avail, and now seek advice from you all. I suppose I can not return on my W7 box to the normal Firefox non-esr releases, but was something changed therein of late that would cause this? It all worked well in July, but now won't work at all. Ugh! My old desktop pc died a few months back. I was using a chromebook until I could replace it, but didn't have access to my Firefox account. Finally got a new pc, but I can't seem to find any way to access my old info. Someone please tell me it's still here somewhere, and how to find it. I had so many important bookmarks saved, and now I'm just absolutely sick at the thought that I can't get them back. I'm not sure which version of Firefox I was running, but I do know the old computer was still on Windows 10.

The downloaded file name is: part_000000(5),csv The small window that appears asks: "What should Firefox do with this file?" I clicked on "Open with Firefox", then clicked "OK", but the window just vibrates and doesn't open the file. The file contains the URL's of all the pocket saves that will be lost after October 8th.

All of a sudden when i sign in to Amazon I get this box: Windows Security: Please sign in to amazon .com: This request comes from Firefox.........: Never asked for it how do I turn it OFF?? I have no2FA in either Amazon or Firefox but all of a sudden i need to enter a Security Code.

I am encountering an interface display issue while using the AdGuard ad blocker extension in the Firefox browser on Windows. When I try to open the "Filtering Log" feature within the extension, the pop-up window appears completely blank and fails to display any log content.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

1. 1 Install and enable the AdGuard extension from the official add-on store.
2. 2 Browse any website.
3. 3 Click the AdGuard icon in the Firefox toolbar.
4. 4 Click the "Filtering Log" button (the icon that looks like a list or clipboard).
5. 5 Expected Result: The filtering log window should open normally, displaying a list of blocked and allowed requests.
6. 6 Actual Result: A new window pops up. The title bar of this window displays "Mozilla Firefox," but the content inside the window is completely blank (pure white, without any text or error messages).
