imac thunderbird 24.4 message filter will not work

I have had Thunderbird for ages!!! I have message filters that are very old. I am at 24.4 on my iMac and the filters have stopped working! The messages just come into my in box.

Do I need to delete the old ones and re-do? Help?

Nope. You can manually run the filter to see if any changes are made, or remake the filter. Manage your filters with this kb articleConfiguration Options for Filtering Messages

Found my problem, been so long since I've worked with filters I forgot how they worked, fixed some out of sequence filters and think it's OK now! Sorry for the post!
