Upgraded to 4.0 - no longer displays 34 open tabs squeezed onto tab bar - only 12 fat tabs. I don't want to scroll to find hidden tabs. Help.

Installed Ver 4.0. Previous version allowed many tabs to be open and squeezed additional tabs onto the bar by shrinking the tab size. New version only displays 12 fat tabs, forcing me to scroll to get to the other 22 hidden tabs I have open. Don't like this limitation at all.

You can use the Custom Tab Width add-on to specify a minimum tab width, which will allow you to get more tabs before it scrolls - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/custom-tab-width/

Thanks a billion Tony. That's sure an improvement on what they did to us. Preferred the old system where the tabs shrunk as needed to maintain a full array. Can't understand why an upgrade would result in such a downgrade. Anyway, you are a lifesaver. Al Lauder
