I want to download an add-on (Better Cache); specifically the "Better Cache". Can I download the add-on using this computer and save it on a flash drive , and then install it on another computer (using windows XP)?

Right-click the "Install" link and use Save Link As...

Then in the other version of Firefox use File > Open File... to install it, or drag the XPI file into the Firefox browser window.
