On Boot-Up a couple of weeks ago I was prompted to update to Firefox3.6.8 and I did so. Auto Install failed first time so I went to Mozilla.com and did a manual download. It installed BUT when it re-started Firefox, the Menu Bar had been replaced by the AVG Secutity and Yahoo Search Bar. I cant access any drop-downs like "File", "Edit" etc. and Page flip arrows are gone too. Can I get the Menu Bar back without losing Bookmarks and History. I've been temporarily forced back to IE7 and have had 368 attempted intrusions in two weeks, usually only have a few per month on Firefox!! Ta Wm

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.

Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
