That depend on many factors if you just clicked delete in error, simple pressing ctrl+Z as undo may well recover things. However undo starts with your last action and by now the deletion is probably not the last thing you did on Thunderbird.
Please explain exactly what you did. This will get messy and somewhat technical is my guess. If they can be recovered at all
Hi Matt, My initial problem was my messages kept disappearing on me , not sure if they were being archived or what so after asking AI they suggested I create dupilicate folders under Local Folder which I did. Then when I went back to check the folders All the messages were gone in both local and ordinary lists. I went directly to my email account on the internet and looking at my account they all seem to be there, I thought it might be easier to find a fix rather then sending them all to my email address again. Didn't want Monzilla to think I was a scammer by sending all these emails.
Just rechecked my account via web and there all gone from there too
Unfortunately AI has a reputation it does not deserve for fixing things. My own personal experience is that they hallucinate as much as they regurgitate and most of what you get is of a very questionable data standard. I would not act on their unsupported advise at this time.
So you attempted to move messages from an IMAP folder to a local folder, is that it?
Check the accounts server type is IMAP by opening account preferences and looking at the first thing on the server setting pane.
