Yaho mail unable to load account.
yahoo mail is asking me to enable javascript. It isn't recognising my email and tells me to use another device (which does work), but I want to use laptop. Why is it asking for java when it's already installed?

Hi lorrylowd,
Yahoo Mail is asking about JavaScript, not Java. They are separate technologies, and Java does not need to be installed for Yahoo Mail to work.
If JavaScript is enabled in Firefox, an extension, saved Yahoo site data, or a problem with the site's settings could be interfering.
Please try the following:
1. Open Yahoo Mail in a Private Window by pressing Ctrl + Shift + P, then try signing in. 2. If you can sign in there, temporarily disable your Firefox extensions to see whether one of them is causing the problem. 3. If the problem continues, remove Yahoo's cookies and site data. While viewing Yahoo, click the padlock or site settings icon beside the address bar and remove the stored site data. 4. Check that JavaScript has not been disabled by an extension or another Firefox setting.
If Yahoo says that it does not recognise the laptop and asks you to use another device, this may be Yahoo's account security system rather than a Firefox problem. Since the account works on another device, check whether Yahoo provides another verification method, such as a recovery email address, phone number, or trusted device.
If possible, please post the exact wording of the message Yahoo displays. That should help determine whether this is a JavaScript problem or an account or device verification issue.
