Thunderbird inbox emails are gone
I was adding some filters for senders to move emails to my local folders and such, and then I ran the filters. For whatever reason, when I ran the filters this time, thunderbird also seemingly deleted all emails from some of my web email inboxes. The only one that wasn't affected by this inbox wipe was my school email(gmail provider). How can I prevent this from happening again?

Addendum: Upon further searching, it doesn't seem like thunderbird deleted all the emails in my inboxes, but it moved them into local folders that I had no filter rules on.
But you have filters on the mail account. If you only have a few filters disable all but one, does your problem away?
If you identify a filter that is causing the problem please post a screen shot of it for us to see. It will probably be one where the text field of one of the rules is empty.
I did find out one of the filter rules on my mailbox email had an empty text field for a rule, so that might fix the inbox issues for one of my accounts. I'll try testing filters one at a time for the other and report back what happens
THanks. Looking forward to your results.
