Update Issues
I have just been on the phone with my bank after arguing with their bot!
I was having trouble on their website, so they gave me some instructions over issues I was having on their website. I followed their instructions, but the changes I made were not registered. Suddenly, a message came up on my screen from the bank telling me that my firefox is not up to date, as it was only on version 152.0. I then checked to find that Firefox has just released an update to version 152.1.
Thinking that this should not really affect my connections with my bank, I looked up this forum to find that other users have had similar problems, and when investigated, it was the banks IT departments that have been too lazy to adjust their systems to Firefox updates. I also noted that last evening we were having buffering problems on our tv, which may or not have anything to do with the update, although I read from Mozilla Support that this too can happen.
Could you please confirm that this is our problem, and that it will soon correct itself. If not, could you please let us know if there are measures being to prevent this in the near future, as although the tv is not important, it has been a little stressful having to make important transactions with the bank.
I ask this with respect, knowing full well that you have provided me with many years of an excellent free service!

As you've correctly noticed, these questions are mainly for your bank to answer why they are rolling out such rules or using service providers that don't code their logic well.
If you post the URL of the bank or their login page I can check if it's one of the usual suspects. (If you prefer not to post you bank details, just go to www.nslookup.io and enter their URL in the box — if the results are e.g. like: www.nslookup.io/domains/www.directv.com saying "CNAME someting something .akamaiedge.net ← someting something .edgekey.net" that's a good confirmation, yes.)
Usually, these things go away for current versions in a day or two, as they update their mammoth systems.
Please do submit "Report Broken Site" from the browser menu when you're on the login page with errors, as it helps capture some debugging data.
(To give you the idea, this is one class of these: https://bugzil.la/akamai-blocks e.g. for Chase: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/2039414 …)
