How do I turn off Threading PERMANENTLY so I can see all my emails

Try changing the option at TB menu > Settings > Appearance > Sorting & Threading.

I have the same problem. I did what Ed said but my email is still all being sorted by threads. I do not want any threads since the email strings are all contained in the actual emails anyway. The old no threading version was much better than now. We do not need TB sorting our mail for us.

I am using TB version 140.10.2esr (64-bit).

Do you see this Threads column header? If so, click it.

R.click any header and click Thread. Then toggle the icon.
