Thunderbird keeps asking for server password, never did before.
I have used Thunderbird for years. Suddenly it asks for my email account password every time I send an email message. What is the problem? The passwords for my email accounts have always been stored in my configuration and it never asked for them. Very annoying.

I think this is connection problem. You may need check you network status to see if you are on-line. Otherwise, it may be your email provider is currently not available, and you can try later again.
No, it immediately sends the email. No connection problem other than it demands the password.
Your provider and version# please.
Does Thunderbird / Mozilla have a phone number for support
I have no idea what changed or exactly when, but Thunderbird no longer asks for a password when sending mail. It is back to the normal behavior. This was a problem in March and I don't remember if I received an update or perhaps there was some other factor that changed.
