POP3 to IMAP
I use Thunderbird on Mac OS 10.14 (Mojave), server is Orange. My account on Orange was referred as POP. I recently transformed it into IMAP ant it works OK. On the IMAP account, I created the same e-mail address than on the POP account, and I wish to keep it.
Now, can I suppress the POP account without loosing my address ? In the Thunderbird help, it is said that : if I suppress the POP account, I will simultaneously loose my address. But it is the same as on the new IMAP ! What should I do ?
Thanks for any help (in French, or in English).

You lose nothing. Your email address is not in danger. In removing the POP account, all you might lose would be previously downloaded messages that are no longer online.

Many Thanks, David. It worked perfectly, after saving old messages on "Local folders".

You're very welcome. I wish more users would ask first as you did to ensure not having a problem. :)
