I recently switch from the Samsung email to the Thunderbird on my phone and I love the app. However, I would like to figure out how I can delete an email on my phone without it deleting it on my desktop version of Thunderbird (IMAP) or on the server that is offsite. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere but I can't find it.

This is the very definition of imap, actions you take on one device are reflected in all other locations.
