Greyed-out Folder Titles

All of a sudden several Titles of Folders have greyed-out (for no known reason). Among these are Trash, Draft, and Sent. Now when I am in the Inbox of a folder and try to delete a message, the message just blinks and reappears instantly subsequentl to the last message in the Inbox. It does not appear in the Trash folder. How can I fix this ????

Start up Thunderbird in safe modus and try to remove the add on lightning the calander. Does problem go away?
