Two Factor Authentication and email setup

more options

To whom it may concern: I use Linux Mint as my primary OS and Thunderbird as my primary email client. I am going back to graduate school and the university email address uses two factor authentication. I can't seem to add my university email to Thunderbird because it won't accept two factor authentication. Did I miss a step or an add on?

Best, Jennifer

Um..... **grins sheepishly** Yes. Unfortunately. Do I need to use OWL or is there an open source option?
