Unable to delete incorrect autofill entries in login fields

Somehow several email addresses of spammers that I was reporting ended up as Firefox autofill entries in all my login fields. Supremely annoying. I am unable to select and delete them. How can I do this? Can I do this from a private window?

If these are "Form History" entries:

Have you been trying the keyboard method?

  • type a letter to two to generate a little drop-down of suggestions
  • use the down arrow key to select an unwanted suggestion
  • press Shift+Delete or Delete to remove it

If these are "Address Autofill" entries:

You can remove them on the Settings page. See: Automatically fill in your address on web forms.
