Expanded headers in my emails

I do not at all like the expanded headers in the new email set up in the 78.4.0 update that just took place on my computer. Having the reply etc. buttons in the header makes that at least an inch long and distracts from the emails.

I always preferred my headers compacted and now it seems there is no option for that.

I DO NOT WANT the reply and etc. function buttons in the email header area.

How can I make this GO AWAY!!!!
