Spam Emails Which Have Started Since Using Thunderbird Forum

Coincidentally since posting on the Forum a few days ago, I have received emails stating that I have been added as someone's recovery email. I have received two from Google with the subject line:

<Someone added you as their recovery email>.

The address added is mine and the requestor address is mine with 'meet' as a prefix. On the first occasion, I followed the link <Disconnect email> and disconnected. The sending email address <no-reply@accounts.google.com> seems valid.

I have received a third email from Google, this time the subject heading:

<Security Alert for your linked Google Account>.

The text insid this reads 'Microsoft apps and services was granted access to your linked Google account'.

The email address given being mine with 'meet' prefixing it. There is a link <Check activity> but this logs into the 'meet' email address so ignored it. I followed the suggestion of going to the Gmail website to check my security settings for third-party apps and there is nothing untoward.

This may be just a coincidence as the problem seems to be nothing new but I wanted to check with the Forum if anybody else has the problem. Thanks.

The Google emails seem valid so will disconnect.
