On the Windows partition of a dual boot pc, running 32-bit Thunderbird v68.4.1, all the messages that I had moved into Local Folders appear to be stored in the Mail folder in a file called "INBOX-1". Having looked at some older profiles still stored under Windows, I found in the Mail folder a subfolder called "Local" with numerous files named after the subfolders I created. That makes more sense to me than a single file called INBOX-1. However, the GUI finds them and displays them correctly as Local Folders

When I load the same profile into 64-bit TB v68.4.1 on Ubuntu, the Local folder in the GUI has only Trash and Outbox. How can these subfolders and the mail in them be displayed in the Ubuntu version?

The above reply did not solve the problem. However, upon further investigation, I found the Local Folders. They aren't in the profile being used by Thunderbird, though. They are in an old profile. I have posted a new problem that explains the situation in detail.

Help/Troubleshooting, click Open Directory to open the profile folder, close TB. Open the Mail/Local Folders folder and delete the .msf files that have the same names as the mbox files with no extension. Restart TB. Do the folders appear under Local Folders?
