Using only my Address Book (not a CSV) as the source in a Mail Merge, where do I find and how do I label elements available to use in personalizing the mailing?

1. I want the subject line in each email generated in a Mail Merge to contain the first name of its recipient, and I may wish the body of each email to contain that element as well as others. Surely I should be able to do that using a mailing list from my Address Book as the source of my recipients, without having to resort to the use of a separate CSV file each time!

2. I believe I must identify each element to appear personalized by enclosing it in double brackets, e.g., {{First}}. But that doesn't appear to work, and neither does {{First Name}}. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

While it does solve my immediate problem, I still need to know where to find the "instructions" referred to in your reply. I need to know the names of ALL variables usable in the Mail Merge add-on.

Did you go to the site he provided the link to? It has the instructions and Links to instructional videos. If you still have questions ask the add on author. They support their software.
