I can't make WaterFox my default browser on Win 10, help!

more options

I have Windows 10 Student edition. When I try to make Waterfox (64 bit, completely updated) my default browser, it only allows me to make Chrome, Edge, or Firefox the default. It only gives me the option to find the app in the Windows store, which is totally useless. Waterfox doesn't appear there.

How can I change this? Please and thank you!

This is not a Firefox support issue!

1. Waterfox is a 3rd party build derived from source code that is freely available from Mozilla with about the only restriction being they can't use the Firefox name or trademarks.

2. Never used Waterfox, but it may not write to the Windows Registry and if that is the case that is why Windows10 doesn't know it is installed.
