How can I move the Close Tab button on the Tab Bar (not on each Tab) to the Left side of the Bar?

If I want a Close Tab Button on the Tab Bar (so that I can close tabs without having to click the button on each tab) my only option is to have it on the Right side. This often results in my accidentally closing a Tab while scrolling through a web page. I want to move this to the Left side of the Tab Bar, since there's no "scroll bar" there.

NOTE: I'm talking about the TAB BAR only. I have the close tab button for EACH TAB on the right side of each one, and that's no problem. It's only the TAB BAR button that's the problem.

P.S. - Right now I've turned that button off completely, but I prefer to have it available for closing a number of tabs quickly, without closing all of them.

Hi   !
If that was possible,   you'd really have a problem:   the  'X'  would be on the first tab   !
What you could do though, is move the scrollbar to the left:
Type in the address bar   about:config (promise to be careful) Type and search for the preference named: layout.scrollbar.side and set it's value to   3

Why should the "X" be on the first tab? When it's on the right side it's not on the last tab (if I fill the bar up).

It's far more convenient for me to have the scroll bar on the right, thank you.

Unless somebody else comes up with the perfect solution for you:
I've tried to find an add-on that might do the trick,   but don't think there is anything there. But maybe you'd like to take a look at all add-ons;   who knows:   I may have overlooked one:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
(sorry I haven't been very helpful   ...... )

Right-click on the tab you want to keep and look at the choices.

The first tab starts on the left side;   a page fills out just like when you read an write:   starting on the left side.
But it's really easy to accidently hit the closing  'X'   when you're in a hurry;   e.g. when you want to click the 3-bar menu.
That's why I'm so glad I get this warning,   when I'm about to close multiple tabs.
Just in case you don't get that warning:
Type in the address bar   about:config (promise to be careful) Type and search for: browser.tabs.warnOnClose and set it's value to   true
