Read my emails earlier, closed out. went to other sites. Went back Mozilla about an hour later and my in box was empty, and all contacts gone.

I don't understand what my "profile" is. The instructions were very confusing to me. Is there a simpler way to recover my lost emails and contacts? Is there a phone number to call so I can talk to a human to walk me through this?.

I you are not sufficiently computer skilled to understand those instruction it is highly probably you need to take the device for professional attention.
