My phone is logging random screen activity when I'm not touching it.

My flame is super fritzy all of a sudden. I can't really use it, which is making it extra hard to troubleshoot. It seems to think I'm swiping at the center of the screen constantly, even if I'm not touching it.

I starting having this problem with a previous flame, but I'd broken the screen and the problem was concentrated where the screen was most damaged. This time around the screen is just fine.

The problem is sort of localized: if I open settings, the Geolocation toggle starts toggling like mad. If I hold down the power button, it immediately toggles the power off -- those are both on the same section of the screen.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

This sounds to me like a hardware problem. Check that the screen is clean, and try restarting the phone. If it is persistent you might need to contact the manufacturer.

Thanks. I think it was probably connected to a fracture in the screen.
